TOSHIBA SPINEX for Energy Supports Green Transformation (GX)

TOSHIBA SPINEX for Energy is a digital service that utilizes the knowledge we have accumulated in the fields of “generating power, transferring power, and using energy smartly” to solve issues related to green transformation (GX). We work with customers to determine the optimal system configuration for their operations and their environment, aiming to improve operational efficiency and achieve carbon neutrality.
In February 2024, we began offering a SaaS^* version of TOSHIBA SPINEX for Energy, providing various services tailored to the needs of energy providers.
Examples that contribute specifically to GX include the following:

(1) Tokushima-Tsuda Biomass Power Plant G.K.: Operations sophistication system
We provide anomaly predictive detection and performance diagnostic functions by combining the standard dashboard AX-VIEW with the plant monitoring software EtaPRO™. This has helped to achieve various operational improvements at the power plant and has been well-received by the customer.

(2) Integrated PV management service
We provide a cloud service that centrally manages multiple solar power generation plants and facilitates centralized, real-time monitoring of their operational statuses. This enables integrated management of on-site monitoring systems from different manufacturers.

(3) Introduction at Toshiba Group business and production sites
When energy-saving measures were planned and verified at Toshiba Group business and production sites, analysis using tools provided by TOSHIBA SPINEX for Energy forecast a 20% reduction in fuel costs and an annual 2,400 t-CO2 reduction in CO2 emissions.
