Meister MES NEO is a solution that realizes efficient business operations and improved productivity. Based on plans created by ERPs or schedulers, it issues production instructions, collects production data, and digitizes the real-time status of the manufacturing floor, which makes it possible to maintain production volumes and respond to increases in production. Furthermore, by aggregating the collected data in our “Manufacturing Data Integration Platform” such as our Meister Factory Series, which provides integrated management of manufacturing-related data, it becomes possible to achieve a wide range of outcomes, from on-site improvements to the creation of a smart factory.
Amid the global trends of smart factories and digital transformation (DX), the manufacturing industry is required to evolve even further. In this context, the introduction of an MES (Manufacturing Execution System) has become essential to move away from business processes that rely on manpower and to achieve improved productivity, cost reductions, and enhanced quality control through the digitalization of the manufacturing floor.
We began selling MES solutions for the semiconductor industry in 2003, launched Meister MES in 2015, and have since installed it in the semiconductor and electrical equipment manufacturing plants of many customers, in addition to those of Toshiba Group. We have now developed Meister MES NEO, a new manufacturing execution system that can handle all types of production formats, by consolidating the knowledge and expertise Toshiba Group has cultivated over many years across a wide variety of products and production types, including in the energy and infrastructure fields.
By providing these solutions, we will help promote greater efficiency in society’s production processes, and we expect that this will also have a ripple effect of contributing to the effective use of resources.
