A next-generation MES* solution that leverages our expertise in building Toshiba semiconductor and electronic device factories, and that incorporates and enhances the functions necessary for next-generation manufacturing (connectivity functions, dynamic cell production, and personalized production).
This solution is equipped with an automated production function, general-purpose interface function, and the big data analytics collaboration required for next-generation manufacturing. It can be used to improve yields and productivity. In the future, we will support the realization of "connected factories" by adding a dynamic cell production function and a personalized production function.
Effects of Introduction
- Use of the automated production function enables automatic transport and online communication between devices, improving throughput.
- Equipped with an OPC UA communication function, which makes it easier to connect to controllers (e.g., PLCs, CNCs, and robots) and enhances security.
- Linking to big data analytics systems enables new analyses and improves yields.
