X-ray Thickness Gauge

The Xray thickness gauge is a widely used device in rolling lines that measures the thickness of plates and slabs (such as steel, copper, aluminum, etc) to assure control and quality of the products being manufactured.
As a device that requires high accuracy and reliability, the plate thickness can be measured in high-speed response as the slab passes through. X-ray radiation is projected to the plate and is computed to calculate the thickness of the plate.
