Overview

A microwave sludge density meter uses microwave phase difference measurement to measure the density of sludge flowing in the pipe.
Without mechanical moving parts for cleaning, sampling and defoaming, it can continuously measure sludge density.

Highlights

  • This meter is less affected by stains and foam by virtue of density measurements based on the phase difference between transmitted and received waves.
  • It can be easily maintained with no mechanical moving parts.
  • With a unit for partially filled conditions, it enables measurements even in the partially filled pipe at liquid level up to approx. 50%.
  • It is less affected by disturbances and capable of providing accurate measurements.
