Introduction of virtual PPA allows to maintain the existing contracts with retail electricity providers while securing non-fossil certificates through long-term bilateral agreements.
Previously, physical PPAs were limited in effectiveness due to procurement volume constraints. However, virtual PPAs has enabled efficient renewable energy procurement even for the smaller stores through acquisition of non-fossil certificates.
