From October 1 (Wed) to 3 (Fri), 2025, Toshiba exhibited at SEECAT 2025, held at Tokyo Big Sight. Over the three days, more than 1,100 visitors came to our booth. This year, we focused our exhibit on the C-UAS solution, which drew even stronger interest than last year amid growing public concern over unauthorized drone intrusions.

We also showcased the upgraded model of middle-range radar, expressing the system’s new capability of its automatic calibration mechanism. And we also exhibited demonstration of new command and control system. Many visitors asked highly technical questions, reflecting a deep understanding of and high expectations for Toshiba’s products.

Across the exhibition as a whole, technologies related to unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and AI attracted significant attention, and we felt a clear rise in interest both inside and outside the company.

Toshiba exhibited updated model of middle-range radar, showcasing improvement through auto-calibration and new command and control system.

At this exhibition, Toshiba unveiled the upgraded model of middle-range radar for the first time. A key feature of its upgrade is its automatic calibration mechanism, which enables the immediate calibration of the system and very real quick deployment. And this upgraded radar offers longer detection range compared to the previous model. During the exhibition, we also presented GUI of the new command and control system, offering visitors a realistic demonstration of how the system operates in actual deployment scenarios and presenting its enhanced scalability.

Visitors who are already familiar with Toshiba’s C-UAS solution showed a highly positive feedback from a technical perspective, noting that the scalability of new command and control system with flexibility of integration of sensors, and that automatic calibration feature significantly reduces time and effort of calibration and enables immediate deployment. With increasing media coverage of drone-related incidents, many expressed a sense of urgency for concrete countermeasures, underscoring the growing expectations and awareness surrounding Toshiba’s C-UAS solution.
