GridDB Cloud V3.1 is available on Azure Marketplace starting October 20, 2025!
The latest version builds on the strengths of V3.0 and introduces the following features:
① Dedicated Environment Offer
Previously, GridDB Cloud V3.0 were only available in shared environments where multiple users used the same GridDB Cloud instance. In GridDB Cloud V3.1 an additional dedicated environment option has been added to the lineup. GridDB Cloud dedicated removes the limit on the number of database requests per 10 minutes and supports server and storage expansion for future scalability.
Two plans are available:
- Standard Plan (fixed configuration):
- [ 4 vCPU, 16 GB Memory, 1 TB SSD] x 3 VMs
- Custom Plan (selectable configurations):
Users can choose from the following:- [ 4 vCPU, 16 GB Memory, 1 TB SSD] x 3 VMs
- [ 8 vCPU, 32 GB Memory, 1 TB SSD] x 3 VMs
- [16 vCPU, 64 GB Memory, 1 TB SSD] x 3 VMs
- [ 4 vCPU, 16 GB Memory, 1 TB SSD] x 1 VM
- [ 8 vCPU, 32 GB Memory, 1 TB SSD] x 1 VM
- [16 vCPU, 64 GB Memory, 1 TB SSD] x 1 VM
- Optional add-ons:
- Additional node server
- Additional 1 TB storage
- Database compression
- Non-WebAPI connection support
- BigQuery integration
② Non-WebAPI Access from Within Shared Cloud Environments
In GridDB Cloud V3.0, only WebAPI access was supported. From V3.1, applications hosted in the same cloud environment can connect to GridDB Cloud using Java, C, or Python—expanding access beyond WebAPI.
③ WebAPI Token Authentication
In addition to basic authentication, WebAPI now supports token-based authentication for enhanced security.
