SCiB™ has been adopted for the battery installed in Mitsubishi Motors Corporation "eK Wagon /eK X /eK space / eK X space".
The highly efficient energy recuperation system of the new cars uses kinetic energy harvested during deceleration to charge the battery. In the mild hybrid system of eK X / eK space / eK X space, a gasoline engine drives the car, but an electric motor assists the engine during starting and acceleration. SCiB™ has contributed to enhance vehicle power performance and fuel efficiency.
