Our first encounters with Heavy ion beam was back to 1984.
In this year, the Heavy Ion Medical Acclerator in Chiba "HIMAC" project, the world's first medical Heavy ion therapy system was launched. Toshiba gained the opportunity to take part in developing the equipment.
30 years has passed since then and we aim to disseminate Heavy ion therapy equipment and actively deploy the system worldwide by taking full advantage of the technologies and experiences that we have accumulated.
We also aim to provide treatment equipment, which is gentle on patients and can be used by customers with a sense of security and user friendliness.
