Energy Systems Research and Development Center (ERD) is focused on technology development in the field of energy system solutions. It is stationed alongside the business divisions where products, systems, services, and solutions are promoted: ERD is responsible for pursuing R&D from basic research to practical applications.
To make the world a better place, ERD’s research fields include carbon neutrality, infrastructure resilience, and Quality of Life (QoL) improvements.
The Energy Systems Research and Development Center is also known as the Energy Systems R&D Center in the Corporate Laboratory of Toshiba Corporation.
