Hybrid Trucks

Making the most of regenerative energy to achieve better fuel economy and lower emissions

Hybrid propulsion systems are becoming increasingly common for trucks and other large commercial vehicles to reduce CO2 emissions. SCiB™ makes it possible to efficiently utilize large regenerative energy converted from kinetic energy of a truck due to its high input/output performance, which helps to achieve better fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions.

Using the regenerated energy to minimize the use of a combustion engine

SCiB™ makes it possible to efficiently utilize large regenerative energy converted from kinetic energy of a truck. SCiB™ efficiently accepts the large regenerative energy generated during downward slope or braking, which are used to assist the acceleration during upward slope or as an energy source of air conditioner or refrigerated storage while engine is turned off.
