From a design and quality perspective, we develop advanced technologies that efficiently and reliably translate customer requirements into product and service specifications, under constraints such as cost, delivery schedules, and regulatory compliance. In addition, we develop information processing technologies that rapidly identify the root causes of issues and deliver appropriate solutions.

Business Process Modeling Technologies

We conduct research and development into methodologies and techniques for decision-making and operational processes related to product architecture, including systems engineering and business process management. In addition, we develop data models and algorithms to efficiently manage digitalized processes based on MBSE and BPMN, thereby promoting the formalization and digitalization of design operations.

We develop technologies that connect and analyze product information generated throughout the value chain—from sales and design to procurement, production, and maintenance—and transform it into data that enables comprehensive and efficient analysis. We are working to strengthen manufacturing capabilities at global production sites by developing and deploying effective tools and methods for productivity improvement based on industrial engineering (IE), promoting smart factory solutions, enhancing production planning and management processes, and designing and launching highly efficient production lines through simulation.

On-site Operation Capability Enhancement Technology

We are engaged in improvement activities at production sites and in installation and maintenance field operations through locally focused initiatives based on Industrial Engineering (IE). We also develop and introduce tools and methods using AI/IoT to streamline these improvement activities.

On-site Management Process Enhancement Technology

We are developing and deploying solutions to enhance on-site management and advance smart factory initiatives. By leveraging advanced technologies such as AI and IoT, we collect and analyze equipment status and operational data in factories to improve productivity and operational efficiency. We are also engaged in building visualization systems and developing human resources to promote smart factory initiatives.

Production Management Process Enhancement Technology

We are working to enhance production planning and on-site construction planning through production management systems leveraging ICT/IoT. We also develop algorithms to improve the efficiency of production management operations using AI and optimization technologies.

Production Preparation Process Enhancement Technology

We are working on the rapid launch of highly efficient production lines by simultaneously optimizing layout and process design using 3D-modeled virtual lines. We quickly model buildings and equipment in 3D and simulate efficient production line operations. We also develop technologies to optimize the startup process and operation of production lines.
