Toshiba's "Rainfall Prediction Service" can provide rainfall prediction information before roads become flooded, rivers overflow, landslides occur, and basements and buildings become flooded. It can be used to respond to different scenarios, such as closing underpasses and controlling traffic signals during disasters, deciding how various transportation services will be operated, issuing evacuation orders in dangerous areas directing people to safe places, and taking measures when holding outdoor events.
