Toshiba to Showcase Robotic Logistics System at LogiMAT 2018 --Demonstration of Robotic Logistics System--

Kawasaki─Toshiba Infrastructure Systems & Solutions Corporation (TISS) today announced its participation in LogiMAT 2018, the international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and one of Europe's biggest logistics exhibitions, to be held in Stuttgart, Germany from March 13 to 15.
TISS, and its pan-European sales representative, Toshiba Europe GmbH, can be found at EO64, with access from the east entrance of the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre. They will together introduce Toshiba's latest logistics solutions and demonstrate a new robotic logistics system─an area where TISS is focused on development of systems that enhance logistics automation and deliver comprehensive solutions.
Robotic logistics systems are in increasingly high demand as solutions for dealing with the surge in deliveries of small parcels, the result of continuing worldwide growth in the e-commerce market. At LogiMAT 2018, TISS will demonstrate SCARA (Selective Compliance Assembly Robot Arm), a robotic logistics solution comprising an intelligent, horizontal multi-axis automated induction system that operates without any need for prior motion programming and teaching.
