Toshiba to Introduce Portable PCs with Intel(R) Centrino(TM) Mobile Technology (Japanese model) 12 March, 2003
Tokyo--Toshiba Corporation today announced two new models in its "DynaBook V7 series" of portable PCs and a new addition to its "dynabook SS S7" mobile notebook PC series that integrate the Intel "DynaBook V7/516LMDW" is designed expressly for the consumer market. It integrates an Intel The new mobile notebook PC, "DynaBook SS S7/290LNKW," weighs in at approximately 1.09kg and is as slim as 14.9mm at its thinnest part. It boasts an ultra low voltage operating version of the "Intel Both new models are provided with "ConfigFreeTM," software supporting configuration-free connectivity to wireless LAN; users can easily switch between cable LAN and wireless LAN. If a wireless connection fails, the software automatically inspects the network to identify the problem, and so enhance wireless LAN easy-to-use. Toshiba also announced three new PCs for the business market, "DynaBook Satellite M10 SA160L/5", "DynaBook Satellite M10 SA130L/5" and "dynabook SS2100 DS90L/2." Major Specifications
