The new Brezza is Toshiba's first desktop PC incorporating a DVD-ROM drive, the new optical storage system with more than 7 times the capacity of CD-ROM. The new PC also incorporates a MPEG decoder card and driver softwares required for DVD video playback, allowing users to enjoy DVD video software, including movies and music videos, on the PC. The new desk-top PC incorporates a new Pentium Processor with Intel's MultiMedia eXtension (MMX) technology that enhances the performance of multimedia applications, allowing users to fully enjoy the rich content available on DVD and the Internet. The new Brezza inherits its predecessors' one-touch access to all functions, including telephony, TV and FM radio, and DVD. It runs on MMX technology 200MHz Pentium Processor, with 256KB pipeline burst SRAM as secondary cache memory. DynaBookTECRA 730X, uses Intel 150 MHz Pentium MMX processor and incorporates a 12.1-inch TFT-color LCD. A 10x average speed CD-ROM drive is pre-installed. Toshiba's PCI chip sets supports 32-bit bus data transfers and hot docking to an optional Desk Station that surpasses most desktops in terms of connectivity. Other features includes two PC card slots support for CardBus and a ZV port. The computer's 2.1GB HDD supports the enhanced IDE standard.
