Toshiba Issues Revised Business Forecasts for the 1st Half of FY2007

Tokyo--Toshiba Corporation today issued revised consolidated and non-consolidated business forecasts for the first half of fiscal year to March 31, 2008. Today's announcement revises the forecast that Toshiba issued with the announcement of its results for the FY2006, on April 26, 2007. The revised forecasts are as in the table below.

  3. Reasons for revision
    As the PC business is moving forward more strongly than originally anticipated, and the Semiconductor business is expected to make firm progress, Toshiba Group now anticipates higher business results than originally forecast. As a result, Toshiba Corporation has released the higher consolidated and non-consolidated business forecasts shown above.
    The full-year forecast for FY2007 is currently under review, and will be announced separately in due course.
