The Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions Corporation group has formulated environmental targets to reduce various environmental impacts generated by business activities such as energy-derived CO2 emissions, chemical substance emissions and waste generation.
Reduce CO2 emissions by promoting energy saving activities (each business site, affiliate company)
Sites and affiliated companies of Toshiba Energy Systems & Solutions Corporation are actively addressing energy saving to reduce the amount of electricity and fuel used, which are the main causes of CO2 emissions. Energy saving measures are various range like active use of energy saving equipment such as replacement of LED lighting, installation of high efficiency air conditioning equipment and operation improvement such as production efficiency and work efficiency. We will continuously implement these measures to reduce CO2 emissions.

Reduce CO2 emission by using biomass fuel boiler
Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems (India) Pvt. Ltd. has introduced biomass boilers to aim to reduce CO2 emissions. We burn biomass fuel using cotton waste and use the generated heat, as a thermal source for the temperature-controlled bath in the manufacturing process.
