Toshiba Digital Solutions Corporation

Toshiba Digital Solutions Corporation (hereinafter TDSL) and Toyota Tsusho Nexty Electronics (Dalian) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter NEDL) today announced that they have reached a definitive agreement to collaborate on offering TDSL’s model-based development platform solution “VenetDCP” to the automotive industry in China.
(DCP=Distributed Co-simulation Platform)

Since the release of VenetDCP in July 2020, TDSL has completed several proof of concept trials with customers and partners in Japan, U.S., Germany, China and Korea, to verify the feasibility and values of VenetDCP. Through these activities, TDSL was able to identify demands and issues of model-based development (MBD) deployment in different countries, and therefore build a product offering scheme that can respond to each market more efficiently. In the China market, TDSL has decided to team up with NEDL as its first partner to grow the VenetDCP business together.

In this partnership, NEDL will be facing customers directly leveraging its extensive knowledge of MBD and local support capability to resell TDSL’s VenetDCP solution. TDSL and NEDL had experiences working together to complete test marketing tasks soon after the release of VenetDCP. The collaboration experiences from the past activities will further consolidate the effort of this partnership and contribute to the customers of VenetDCP in China.
