本社工場内において、ウマノスズクサとジャコウアゲハを増やす活動を2013年度より始めています。姫路市ではジャコウアゲハを姫路市の市蝶に制定しており、ジャコウアゲハを増やす活動が盛んです。そこでジャコウアゲハとその幼虫の食草であるウマノスズクサを保全し増やす活動をしています。2022年度は300頭を超えるジャコウアゲハが羽化しました。
Since 2013, we have started activities to grow birthworts to attract and breed Chinese windmills who feed on them. Chinese windmill is a popular species in Himeji City since it is a city-butterfly. We will continue to conserve birthworts for Chinese windmills and its larva. In FY2022, we have seen adult-eclosion of more than 300 butterflies.
