構内敷地において、希少種である「オオニガナ、カジカエデ、テドリトクサ」の生育や繁殖状況を確認するため、4月～11月の間、月に3回程度、株数や生長確認などをモニタリングしました。特にオオニガナは昨年より株数が増加しました。
In order to check the the growth and reproduction of the rare species within the premises, such as prenanthes tanakae, acer diabolicum, and horsetails , we monitored the number of the plants and their condition three times a month from April to November. In particular, the number of prenanthes tanakae has increased since last year.

2013年度より辰口丘陵公園の市有地の一部（3.33ha）を借り受け、「加賀東芝の森」と称して従業員とその家族が中心となり、「能美の里山ファン倶楽部」と行政のご支援・ご指導を受けながら、森林整備・保全活動を行っています。これは、従業員一人ひとりが里山づくりの重要性を再認識すること、地域との交流を図ることを目的としており、春と秋の年2回の活動を実施しています。新型コロナウイルス感染症の拡大を受け、2020年度からの本活動は多くの参加者での開催は中止としましたが、感染症予防対策を徹底した上で、少人数での遊歩道やその周辺の整備、倒木除去、倒木を利用したベンチの製作・設置、枝打ち、下草刈りなどを行いました。2022年度は4月と10月に実施しました。
Since FY2013, we have leased a portion (3.33 ha) of city-owned land in Tatsuguchi Hillside Park and have been conducting forest maintenance and preservation activities on the land under the name "Kaga Toshiba Forest," led by employees and their families, with the support and guidance of the Nomi Satoyama Fun Club and the local government. These activities are conducted twice a year, in spring and fall, with the aim of making each employee reaffirm the importance of "satoyama" development and promoting interaction with the local community. Due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, this activity was cancelled from FY2020 with many participants. However, after taking thorough measures to prevent infection, a small group of participants maintained the walking trail and its surroundings, removed fallen trees, made and installed benches using the fallen trees, pruned branches, cut underbrush, etc. In FY2022 The project was conducted in April and October.
